About Me
I have a great appreciation for imagery and our emotional connection to it; regardless of the content. There is a deeper relationship that can be established through a particular emotional response to an image.
Our early experiences form our memories, which become deeply ingrained within us. As a child, I spent hours on my grandparents' living room floor looking through photo albums just taking in the experience. As I grew older, I became accustomed to always carrying a camera with me.
I prefer not to confine my creativity to a single genre of photography. I find all of them interesting in different ways.
I love creating beautiful food images that give the viewer a full sensory experience. My theory is that our sense of sight influences our sense of taste so much that we can almost anticipate the flavor of food just by looking at an image. I hope to elicit that response.
I like to photograph animals in their natural habitats. There is a profound emotional impact that comes with observing the instinctual behavior of animals.
I am fascinated by still-life photography as it expresses my inner thoughts and ideals, tapping into my inner creativity and expressing it through the creation of an image.
The art of landscape photography captures the pristine beauty of nature, a divine creation.
I thoroughly enjoy embarking on exciting journeys and discovering new cultures overseas. My travel as well as my documentary photography are inspired by my curiosity surrounding other cultures and the exploration of historical boundaries.
